If you haven’t already noticed, I like to cross things off my “bucket list” around here. And while I realize that many of you have no interest in actually running ridiculous miles in extreme conditions, I also understand that’s not exactly why you stop by to read my blog.

Over the next 5 months I’m going to be pursuing a big goal and I’d like you to join me. I’m officially registered for The Coastal Challenge Rainforest Expedition Run in February 2011. This event, or should I say “experience,” has been occupying the focus of my dreams for more than 2 years now.

I can’t take it anymore. I simply must do this...



This is a 6-day stage race of ~140 miles through the jungle and beaches of coastal Costa Rica. Of course this is the hardest event that The Coastal Experiences (TCE) has to offer but they also have a more user friendly version called the Jungle River Run in October if you’re interested in this type of getaway race.
