Last weekend I joined the Allied Climbers of San Diego for their annual Valley of the Moon Thanksgiving campout. We had a blast camping, running, climbing and turkey-eating. Next up is a week-long road trip with friends for Thanksgiving!

Today, I hit the road with two friends for a week-long road trip. Our adventure is loosely planned to accommodate any side adventures that ensue, but our general plan is to begin with a group camping and climbing trip in Joshua Tree National Park this weekend, then on to explore Mojave National Preserve, celebrate Thanksgiving in Death Valley National Park and then climb in Bishop, CA before returning to San Diego the following weekend. We’ll be car camping at night and exploring these beautiful areas during the day!
