I started blogging two years ago in an effort to document and share my adventures with my family, friends and the online community on Active.com. Since then, the focus of my blog has evolved from outdoor adventures to showcase my life of training and racing as an endurance athlete.
My new blog home acts as an aggregation of my life on the social web with links/feeds to/from all my content: Twitter updates, event calendar, blog archives, Flickr photos, YouTube videos, race results, sponsors and links to other cool stuff on the web.
My friends Bryan Pavin and Mike McDonald helped me create this site, and I am very thankful for their willingness to help and their patience while teaching me a thing or two along the way. It was a pleasure working with these guys and I couldn't have done it without them. I'd also like to thank my editor, Giselle, for her tireless effort to make my writing worth reading.
It’s been a month since my last post, where I shared my race report from the VT100. In that time I’ve managed to recover properly and maintain my fitness base by training with the ActiveX group on M/W/F and running the canyon trails with James on T/TH. I’ve also incorporated yoga practice at Sorrento Valley Yoga and stayed super busy with work and some fun side projects.
This weekend, I’m heading back up to the Sierra Nevada for my third attempt at the Palisades Traverse. I’ve got a good feeling about this trip so stay tuned for my report next week.

Congrats on your re-launch T! This new home for your social media and blog is great and will only continue to get better. :)
Nice Toby! Well done.
Thanks for all your help, Giselle. And thanks for stopping by Sara!
Looks like my trip to the Sierras is getting pushed back to Labor Day Weekend because of a weather system moving in. I guess I'll just go to the beach B-)
Very impressive site! I have been inspired by you since seeing your presence on Active.com about a year ago. Keep up the good work. I'll be following.
Thanks Kris! Much appreciated. I'm subscribed to your updates as well so I'll either see you on http://community.active.com or here in the blogoshpere :) Have a great weekend! ~T
